JEFF EVANS

Jeff is one of the two founding Directors of Fuse Creative. Originally studying Fine Art at Elam, a shift to graphic design has given him over 30 years’ experience in brand development and communication strategy.

Jeff is responsible for establishing new business relationships and has creative oversight of all Fuse’s projects. His comprehensive experience across the design industry means he brings an insightful and relevant contribution to a wide variety of projects.

Jeff can always find time to talk about his other passions – sailing and classic motorcycles. A collection of his museum-quality classic bikes are scattered throughout the studio at Fuse.

LEIGH COCKERILL

As a founding director of Fuse Creative, Leigh’s business partnership with Jeff Evans spans over 30 years.

As a brand development and collateral design specialist, Leigh has creative oversight of all Fuse’s brand design and development projects. An award winning publication designer, she manages the creation and execution of brand, print and web projects.

An enormously competitive athlete, Leigh has represented NZ in both indoor and beach volleyball and now competes regularly as a multi-sporter, adventure racer and mountain biker.

STEVE SPAIN

Steve is a strategist, marketer and business leader with enormous experience gained from over 25 years in senior executive roles. Steve’s passion is helping companies create outstanding business and marketing strategies that clearly articulate goals and provide compelling programmes for business growth.

This led him to establish Strategy Lab as an independent consultancy. Sharing offices with Fuse Creative allows Steve to partner with us on projects as required and provides an on-call strategic capability to our service offer.

Steve has had a highly successful career working for large corporates as well as smaller businesses and start-ups – in roles ranging from managing director and general management to strategy, sales and marketing, business development, M&A and restructuring.

PIERS MENHINICK

Experienced in projects ranging from small-scale identity development, through to major corporate and consumer branding projects, Piers works to align business direction and creative expression of a brand. He creates beautiful visuals that solve problems, tell stories, prompt responses and reflect who the client is and how they think.

Piers is a firm believer in getting you or your company excited about what you do and feeling confident to show it off and get noticed. He takes his work seriously, but he also likes to have fun with projects, be collaborative and always ego free.

KELLY LAWSON

Her unflappable and positive nature makes Kelly a vital member of the Fuse studio, managing to decipher garbled instructions and turn hasty sketches into works of art in double quick time. Part designer, part copywriter and part psychic, Kelly works alongside all Fuse’s senior creatives delivering artwork for print, advertising and signage quickly and with a minimum of fuss.

Kelly splits her time between Fuse and ferrying her children around to their various sporting events. Not to be outdone by the kids, Kelly plays futsal regularly and has a mean right boot.
