The popular coastal walking track between Milford and Takapuna is one of Auckland’s true gems and it’s less than five minutes away. From here you can access the myriad walking paths around the bays. Only 200 metres up Pierce Road is a beautiful native bush walk that forms part of the tracks around the shores of Lake Pupuke.
Castor Bay and Thorne Bay are both within easy walking and ideal spots for swimming, sunbathing or even a stand-up paddleboard. If you feel like a change of scene, Takapuna beach is just 20 mins walk along the coast.
